CYDC is excited to be a participating nonprofit in two area celebrations Tuesday, May 5 as part of Lowcountry Giving Day, a 24-hour online giving challenge coordinated through Coastal Community Foundation where donations will be multiplied through an incentive. The first is the North Charleston Giving Day Celebration, to be held from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. on May 5 at North Charleston City Hall. There will be a donation station as well as food trucks and music all day!
We are also fortunate to be one of the five nonprofit organizations included in The Alley Charleston’s Day of Giving Party at The Alley 11 a.m.-9 p.m. This Cinco de Mayo-themed event will feature food and drink specials all day and 10 percent of sales from the event will benefit the five partner organizations that include CYDC, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston, Florence Crittenton, Carolina Studios and First Tee of Greater Charleston.
Admission to both events is free!
