Over 235 Years of Service

Founded in 1790, Landmarks for Families has provided family services and support to children, youth and families across Charleston and the Lowcountry for more than 235 years. As a direct descendant of the Charleston Orphan House – America’s first publicly-funded orphanage – we have evolved alongside the needs of our community. We are privileged to now help over 860 children, in addition to local youth and families, navigate and overcome life’s greatest challenges.

Family Preservation & Reunification

Landmarks for Families provides in-home family preservation and reunification services that connect families with support, resources and guidance tailored to their needs.
