OUR MISSION: To cultivate thriving children and families.
OUR VISION: Our vision is that all children will have loving and stable families and a nurturing community that empowers them to lead successful lives.
Founded in 1790, Landmarks for Families’ services have played an integral part in providing South Carolina children and families with a new direction. As a direct descendant of the Charleston Orphan House – America’s first publicly-funded orphanage – we have evolved alongside the needs of our community. We are privileged to now help over 860 children, in addition to local youth and families, navigate and overcome life’s greatest challenges.
Find the support your family needs to learn, grow, and connect through family engagement, group workshops and activities.
Families in our community are never alone with Landmarks in-home services. Providing support, resources, and tailored services.
Every young person deserves safety, stability, and meaningful connections. Landmarks for Families provides individualized, trauma-informed residential care for youth, helping them build on their strengths and prepare for a brighter future.
At Landmarks, we believe in the power of community. Every action, no matter how small, has the ability to improve lives around us. Join us in creating a brighter world and better, safer futures for children and families.
