YEA!

YEA!

Landmarks for Families is home to the Lowcountry Chapter of YEA!, a statewide initiative that elevates the voices of young people with foster care experience. Chapter members meet regularly to connect with peers, strengthen leadership and communication skills, and discuss issues affecting teens and young adults within the child welfare system.

Members may contribute to program and policy discussions, participate in advocacy projects, and share their perspectives through panels, conferences, focus groups, and community events. These opportunities allow members to build confidence, advocate for themselves and others, and help organizations make more informed decisions about the young people they serve.

Eligibility

Young people ages 14–25 with foster care experience are welcome to participate.
