Carolina Youth Development Center is now Landmarks for Families!
Your path to a stronger family begins here. Landmarks for Families is empowering our community’s children and families with safe environments, essential resources, and educational and emotional supports they need to succeed.
Founded in 1790, Landmarks services have played an integral part in providing South Carolina children and families with a new direction. As a direct descendent of the Charleston Orphan House – America’s first publicly-funded orphanage – we have evolved alongside the needs of our community. We are privileged to now help 900 children, in addition to local youth and families, navigate and overcome life’s greatest challenges.
Find the support your family needs to learn, grow, and connect. These foundational lessons are protective factors for thriving families.
Parents in our community are never alone with Landmarks workshops, groups, and one-on-one support for caregivers.
Every child deserves a safe, stable place to call home. Landmarks for Families is proud to provide safe spaces for children across our community.
At Landmarks, we believe in the power of community. Every action, no matter how small, has the ability to improve lives around us. Join us in creating a brighter world and better, safer futures for children and families.
