In response to the 1992 Trident United Way Needs Assessment highlighting the need for support for children in crisis, the Callen-Lacey Center for Children was established in Moncks Corner by Landmarks for Families with community backing. Since its inception in 1998, the center has served over 1,100 children, operating continuously to provide a safe environment.
The Landmarks for Families North Charleston campus is the headquarters for all programs and services and is home to the Landmarks for Families administrative offices.
